Biography

I am a prospective PhD student at University of California, Los Angele at 2020 Fall, under the supervision of Prof. Ankur Mehta. I have accomplished my Master degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, under the supervision of Prof. Peilin Liu and Prof. Fei Wen. Before that, I completed my Bachelor degree at Xidian University, Xi’an. My research interests are SLAM, multi-sensor fusion, pose estimation, GNSS and high-accuracy positioning on smartphone. A seamless and robust navigation system is what I am chasing for. My CV is here.

What’s more, I am also a devoted and experienced volunteer, the teaching volunteer period in mountainous area of Yunnan will be kept in the depth of my mind forever.

Projects

Multi-sensor Fusion for Inspection Robot

Introduced a loose-coupled framework that fuses IMU, SLAM, GNSS and other sensors separately, which tolerates single sensor signal lost during operation.

Intelligent Robotic Navigation and Manipulation System

Developed a docking SLAM that tracks moving objects with cm-grade docking accuracy for autonomous vehicle

High-accuracy GNSS Positioning on Portable Smartphone

Developed an algorithm which achieved high-accuracy and reliable positioning of smartphones under complex environment using GNSS-IMU fusion.

Bluetooth Indoor Positioning System

Aim to realize accurate Bluetooth signal arrival-of-angle (AOA) estimation, using single channel 6-antenna array.

Activity

Volunteer Time in Mountainous Area of Yunnan, China
